J.Crew Bundle Update

Hey all, thanks for your patience as we got a bit of this J.Crew inventory sorted (along with a few thousand other things). I'll be updating our main website in the next couple of weeks to make the process of requesting specific items better. In the meantime, if you're interested in buying, I can invoice you from our website or through PayPal or Venmo (both with buyer protection), whichever you prefer.

Next some specifics. Let's me preface this by saying that I don't think I have enough inventory sorted to supply all the requests. We can sort more, it just takes time and labor of course. For now, I wanted to get this first batch of sorting sent out to anyone still interested! That in mind, here some pertinent info:

My first post into the bundle Facebook Group mentioned I was asking $6/item. When I made that post, that was for unsorted inventory. Basically that was for a "not-so-suprise" box, where everything is in a plastic bag, like we receive them.

Obviously I've paid quite a bit for labor into what's currently sorted. However, absolutely I'll stay true to my word, but with an understandable catch:

$6/item for sorted inventory and $5.50/item for unsorted inventory through 11/6/2024 at midnight! Shipping is a flat $15, or free for orders over $200.

Beginning 11/7, sorted J.Crew inventory will be $8/item. Unsorted inventory will remain at $6/item. 

We'll likely raise our prices to $10/sorted and $8/sorted as we get traction, but no timeline on that. We especially will do this in order to offer our RSco Members the best pricing and early dibs before inventory goes "public" on the website.

What's the difference between sorted and unsorted? 

All of our current J.Crew inventory are returns. We're mainly sorting to seperate anything that's too heavily damaged to resell. Some people are requesting certain sizes and items as well, so we're trying to make good on those requests as we're able to.

There's a chance some of our sorted/screened inventory has minor defects, most likely a stain that can be removed. But we've tried to discard anything with a tear, bad stain, missing button, etc. In the case that a damaged piece made it through our screening and you feel it's too damaged to be resold, we'll offer a prorated credit for those item/s towards the purchase of your next bundle.

This is for items purchased by the 11/6/24 deadline only! In fact, we'll do this for the sorted inventory AND the "not-so-surprise" (unsorted/unscreened/unopened) inventory through 11/6/2024!

From 11/7/2024 onwards, we'll glad to the whole prorated credit for damaged items deal, but only for members!

Summary

Okay I know this is a bit of a novel. Here's the summary!

Order by 11/6/2024 at midnight and get:

  1. Sorted inventory for $6/item. We'll fulfill requests until we can't.
  2. Unsorted inventory for $5.50/item.
  3. Get a prorated credit towards your next bundle for any item that's too damaged/defective to resell. This hopefully takes away any risk of buying a "not-so-surprise" bundle that has a large amount of damaged pieces.

Pricing beginning 11/7/2024:

  1. Sorted inventory for $8/item
  2. Unsorted inventory for $6/item 
  3. Only RSco Members will be able to receive prorated credits for items too damaged to resell.
